INQUIRIES having been made respecting a person
named
JOHN CLEMINSON,
formerly of Manchester, England, and who was last
heard of in Nelson about five years ago, when he was
employed in fencing for the Government, any one
who can give any information respecting him is re-
quested to communicate with this Office.

PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following names of Officiating Ministers
within the meaning of the said Act are published for
general information:—
United Church of England and Ireland.
The Reverend THOMAS PORRITT.
Free Church of Scotland.
The Reverend W. H. ROOT.
I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar-General of Births,
Deaths, and Marriages in New Zealand, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Names of Officiating
Ministers, within the meaning of "The Marriage
Act, 1854," have been sent in to me, in addition to
the names in Lists published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 6, of the 30th January, and No. 9, of
13th of February, in the present year.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
twenty-fourth day of February, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-
three.
