IN pursuance and exercise of the power in this
behalf enabling me, I, Sir George Ferguson
Bowen, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby revoke the warrant bearing date the
thirtieth day of September last, and do hereby fix
and appoint that sittings of the District Courts of
the County of Westland and Westland North, re-
spectively, for the despatch of Civil and Criminal
Business, shall be held as follows:---

In the Resident Magistrate's Court at Ahaura,
in the District Court District of the County
of Westland, on the second day of the months
of November, January, March, May, July, and
September, respectively.

In the Resident Magistrate's Court House at
Reefton, in the District Court District of
Westland North, on the fifth day of the
months of November, January, March, May,
July, and September, respectively.

Provided that in case any of the days so fixed as
aforesaid shall happen to be a Sunday or holiday,
then the Court appointed for that day shall be holden
on the first day thereafter, not being Sunday or a
holiday.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twenty-second day of
October, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-two.

BY virtue and in pursuance of the power and
authority vested in me by "The County of
Westland Act, 1868," and of every power and
authority in this behalf enabling me, I, Sir George
Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, do
hereby abolish all existing Polling Places for the
Electoral Districts described in the Fourth Schedule
to the said Act, and do hereby appoint the following
Polling Places for the Electoral Districts respectively
hereinafter named, being the districts described in
the said Fourth Schedule to the said Act, in lieu
thereof; that is to say-

Hokitika District.
Resident Magistrate's Court House, Hokitika.

Greymouth District.
Resident Magistrate's Court House, Greymouth.

Paroa District.
Small's Store, Woodstock.
McBeth's Post Office Store, Upper Crossing,
Arahura.

Road Board Office, Paroa (Principal Polling Place).
Hamilton's Machine Store, Marsden.
Court House, Arnold.
Court House, Pounamu.
Court House, Clifton.
Hamilton's Store, German Gully.

Arahura District.
Court House, Stafford (Principal Polling Place).
Court House, Goldsborough.
W. Keech's Store, Foot of Chesterfield Track.
R. Thompson's Store, Callaghan's.
J. Merritt's Cottage, Fox's.
Otto Hansen's Store, German Gully.

Kanieri District.
Warden's Court, Kanieri (Principal Polling Place).
Milner's Bakery, Big Paddock.
Gemmell's Old Store, Blue Spur.

Totara District.
Court House, Ross (Principal Polling Place).
William Searle's House, Donoghue's.
School House, Bowen.
Daddo's Hutt, McKenzie's Creek.

Okarito District.
Court House, Okarito (Principal Polling Place).
House near McGoldrick's Hotel, Saltwater.
Booth near Canavan's Store, Five-Mile Beach.
Booth near Matheson's Store, Gillespie's.
Kemper's House, Hunt's Beach.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir
George Ferguson Bowen, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-
Admiral of the same, at the Government
House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth
day of October, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
two.

IN exercise of the power in me for this purpose
vested by "The Customs Regulation Act, 1858,"
I, Sir George Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of New
Zealand, do hereby declare and appoint that, on and
from the day of the date hereof, the Dunedin and
Port Chalmers Railway Pier and Wharf at Port
Chalmers shall be deemed and taken to be a Legal
Quay or Landing Place at the Port of Dunedin for the
lading and unlading of goods, under "The Customs
Regulation Act, 1858."

Cross of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over Her Majesty's Colony of New

WHEREAS on the twenty-eighth day of August,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one,
in pursuance of the powers vested in the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand by "The Westland
Waste Lands Act, 1870," certain days were appointed
to be the days on which the Waste Lands Board of
the County of Westland should sit at the principal
Land Office of the said County, in the Town of
Hokitika :

And whereas by the said recited Act it is, among
other things, enacted that the principal Land Office
of the said County shall be kept at the Town of
Hokitika, and the Waste Lands Board shall sit there,
and at certain stated times to be determined from
