discontinue the services of
"The St. John's College (Auckland) Rifle Volunteer
Cadet Corps,"
at their own request.
The under-mentioned gentleman has therefore
ceased to hold the rank of officer, his commission
having, under the provisions of "The Volunteer Act,
1865," lapsed:—
