ORDER IN GOUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of October, 1872.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867," it is enacted that if any
title to or interest in any hereditaments shall accrue
to any Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof, or
interest therein, as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
Trustees as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a Crown grant, bearing
date the thirty-first day of March, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy, the parcel of land and
hereditaments described in the Schedule written
hereon became vested in Rupene Te Whetuki and
Rehara Ngawharawhara, of the District of Hauraki,
in the Province of Auckland, Aboriginal Natives of
New Zealand: And whereas Rehara Ngawhara-
whara, one of the said grantees, died intestate:
And whereas at a Native Lands Court held at Short-
land, in the District of Hauraki, in the Province
aforesaid, on the tenth day of August, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-two, Te Mura claimed
to succeed to the interest of the said Rehara Nga-
wharawhara in the said parcel of land described in
the said Schedule, and it was ordered by the said
Court that the said Te Mura should succeed to the
interest of the said Rehara Ngawharawhara in the
said hereditaments, and it is expedient that the said
Rupene Te Whetuki should be appointed a Trustee
under the said Act on behalf of the said Te Mura
during his minority:
Now therefore, His Excellency Sir George Fer-
guson Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the Colony, in exercise and in pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act,
doth hereby order that the estate or interest of the
said Rehara Ngawharawhara in the said parcel of
land shall be and remain vested in the said Rupene
Te Whetuki as Trustee within the meaning and for
the purposes of the said Act for the said Te Mura
during his minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Province of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods and 26
perches, more or less, situate at Kauaeranga, in the
District of Hauraki, Queen's County, being called or
known by the name of Kauaeranga No. 11, and
numbered 499N: bounded towards the North-east by
Kauaeranga Nos. 8, 7, and 6 Blocks, 386 links;
towards the South-east by Kauaeranga No. 10 Block,
507 links; towards the South-west by a line 315
links; and towards the North-west by Kauaeranga
No. 12 Block, 592 links.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and autho-
rity in me vested in this behalf by "The West-
land Waste Lands Act, 1870," I hereby reserve the
lands in the County of Westland, the boundaries
whereof are described in the Schedule hereunto
annexed, for the uses of the Colonial Government
and other public purposes, which in the said Schedule
are more particularly specified.

of Saint Michael and Saint George,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-

Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-two.

three acres six perches, more or less, situate in the
Town of Greymouth, bounded on the Northward by
Sections 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111,
112, 113, 114, and 115, six hundred and fifty (650)
links; on the Eastward by Chapman Street, seven
hundred and fifty (750) links; on the Southward by
Swainson Street, three hundred and fifty (350) links;
and on the Westward, by Martin's Quay. — For
Municipal purposes.
Lot number eighty-three (83) (in red), containing
one acre three roods eight perches, more or less, situ-
ate in the Town of Greymouth, bounded on the
Northward by Reserve No. 704 (in red); on the
Eastward by sections 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 116, 117,
118, and 119, four hundred and fifty (450) links; on
the Southward by Swainson Street; and on the
Westward by Chapman Street, four hundred and
fifty (450) links. — For Municipal purposes.
Lot number eighty-four (84) (in red), containing
three acres one rood more or less, situate in the
Town of Greymouth; bounded on the Northward by
Swainson Street, six hundred and fifty (650) links;
on the Eastward by Arney Street, five hundred (500)
links; on the Southward by Bridge Street, six hun-
dred and fifty (650) links; and on the Westward by
Chapman Street, five hundred (500) links. — For
Municipal purposes.
Lot number eighty-five (85) (in red), containing
two acres one rood four perches, more or less, situate
in the Town of Greymouth, bounded on the North-
ward by Swainson Street, four hundred (400) links;
on the Eastward by Chapman Street, five hundred
(500) links; on the Southward by Bridge Street, five
hundred and fifty (550) links, and by a continuation
of Bridge Street to Martin's Quay; and on the West-
ward by Martin's Quay, five hundred (500) links.—
For Municipal purposes.
Lot number eighty-six (86) (in red), containing
three acres two roods two perches more or less, situate
in the Town of Greymouth, bounded on the North-
ward and Westward by Erua Moana Lake; and on
the South-eastward by Whitcombe Quay, for ten
hundred and fifty (1050) links.—For Municipal pur-
poses.
Lot number eighty-seven (87) (in red), containing
one acre two roods sixteen perches, more or less,
situate in the Town of Greymouth, bounded on the
South-westward by Franklin Street, five hundred
(500) links; on the South-eastward by a line at right
angies to the last-mentioned boundary, five hundred
and seventy (570) links; on the Northward by the
North Town Belt; and on the Westward by Reserve
No. 24 (in red), seventy (70) links.—For Municipal
purposes.
