HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make the following appointments, dating from the 11th
instant, viz.:-

The Honorable JULIUS VOGEL, C.M.G., to be Colonial Treasurer and Postmaster-General;
The Honorable DONALD MCLEAN, C.M.G., to be Native Minister;
The Honorable JOHN HALL to be Colonial Secretary;
The Honorable JOHN DAVIES ORMOND to be Minister for Public Works;
The Honorable JOHN BATHGATE to be Commissioner of Customs.
