NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat in the meantime be lodged for-
bidding the same.
Allotment number twenty-three (23), Block three
(3); Township of Harrisville.--Applicant, CHARLES
PETERS, of Invercargill, in the Province of Otago,
Painter.
Allotment number six (6), Block four (IV.), Town-
ship of Harrisville.--Applicant, WILLIAM LIND,
of Invercargill aforesaid, Settler.
Caveat in each case must be lodged within one
calendar month after the gazetting of this notice.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE notice required by our Deed of Partnership
having expired, we hereby give notice that the
Partnership heretofore existing between us, under
the style or firm of "E. Porter and Co., Iron-
mongers," has been dissolved as and from the 8th
day of December, 1871.

Porangahau District, has been dissolved by mutual

TO THE SHAREHOLDERS OF THE CLUTHA PRO-
PERTY INVESTMENT AND BUILDING SOCIETY.
A GENERAL MEETING of the Shareholders of
the Clutha Property Investment and Building
Society will be held in Barr's Hall, Balclutha, Pro-
vince of Otago, on the evening of Tuesday, the 13th
day of February ensuing, at 8 o'clock, to take into
consideration several purposed alterations in the
constitution of the Society, viz. :-
- As to an issue of new shares; and,
- To grant to the Committee the power to
withhold the money the property of the
Society from being disposed of unless at an
advance on a fixed premium; and in the
event of such money not being taken up by
the shareholders, to invest the same to the
best advantage for the Society.
