133 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867,"
the name of
GEORGE HENDERSON, Esq.,
has been sent in to this office by the Town Clerk
as having been elected Mayor of the Borough of
Blenheim.

"The Queen has also been pleased to approve
of Don DAVID BOOSIE CRUICKSHANK as Consul at
Auckland for the Republic of Chile."

T is hereby notified, in accordance with the pro-
visions of the 6th section of "The Gisborne
Land Act, 1870," and the 3rd section of "The Gis-
borne Land Act 1870 Amendment Act, 1871," that
His Excellency the Governor proposes to issue Crown
Grants for Lands in the Township of Gisborne, in
favour of the persons in the under-mentioned
Schedules, for the respective lots therein specified,
and to set apart the lands as reserves for the pur-
poses in the said Schedules set forth.
