ALL persons who have claims for the New Zealand
War Medal, as members of the Colonial Forces
or friendly Natives who have been under fire in any
engagement during the military operations in New
Zealand in the years 1845, 1846, and 1847, and from
the year 1860 to 1866 inclusive, also since the year
1866, and who have not yet made application for it,
are requested to apply with as little delay as possible
to the Honorable the Minister for Colonial Defence.

Attention is drawn to the Regulations for the
issue of the Medal published in the New Zealand
Gazette of the 30th December, 1869, and to the
notice of appointment of the Commissioners pub-
lished in Gazette of 18th March, 1871.
