IN pursuance of the power vested in me by the
Proclamation dated the seventeenth day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, by the
Governor in Council, of regulations for the sale,
letting, disposal, occupation, and management of the
Waste Lands within the County of Westland:
I, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint

HENRY LEE ROBINSON, Esq.,
to be Commissioner of the Waste Lands Board of
the said County of Westland; to hold office during
my pleasure.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir
George Ferguson Bowen, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-
Admiral of the same; and issued at
Wellington, this seventeenth day of
February, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

February, Money Orders may be issued and made
payable at the under-mentioned Post Offices, viz. :-

CUSTOMS.---Whereas a certain building situate in
Palmerston Street, Westport, and known as
THE WESTPORT BOND,
was some time since appointed as a Warehouse for
the reception and security of goods entered to be

warehoused without payment of duty upon the first
entry thereof: Now, in exercise of the authority in
me for this purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of
Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and
annul, as from the day of the date hereof, the appoint-
ment of the said building as such Warehouse as
aforesaid.

Given under my hand at Wellington, this
eleventh day of February, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-one.

CUSTOMS.---In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act, 1858," I, the Commissioner of Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned
Warehouse, namely :-

Port of Hokitika.

A Galvanized Iron Building, situate in Wharf
Street, in the Town of Hokitika, in the occupation of
Mr. James Miller, and known as

MILLER'S BOND,
to be a Warehouse for the reception of Goods under
Bond.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
eleventh day of February, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-one.

Commissioner's Order, No. 42.]

NOTICE is hereby given, that by an award made
on the eighteenth day of November, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy, the Commis-
sioners of the Public Debts Sinking Funds did
determine that the sum of Two thousand eight
hundred pounds, being part of the said accumulated
Sinking Fund held by them for the payment of the
Debentures issued under "The Wellington Loan
Act, 1862, No. 11," should be released and paid
over to the Provincial Account of the Province of
Wellington, as provided by the sixth clause of
"The Public Debts Sinking Funds Act Amendment
Act, 1869."

House for the Resident Magistrate at Maketu,
in the Province of Auckland.
General Conditions, Specifications, and Drawings
may be seen at the Offices of the Colonial Architect,
Wellington; and at the Government Offices in
Auckland, Tauranga, and Napier.
Tenders will be received by the undersigned, up
to noon on Wednesday, the 15th March next.
The lowest or any Tender not necessarily accepted.
