To the LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLORS of the Colony of NEW ZEALAND, and
the MEMBERS elected to serve in the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
of the said Colony, and to all whom it may concern—GREETING :
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS I have thought fit to dissolve the General Assembly of New Zea-
land, which stands prorogued to the Ninth day of February next: Now
KNOW YE, that I do for that end publish this Proclamation, and do hereby dissolve
the said General Assembly accordingly; and the Legislative Councillors, and the
Members elected to serve in the House of Representatives, are discharged from their
meeting and attendance on the said Ninth day of February next.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir GEORGE FERGUSON BOWEN,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Governor in and over Her Majesty's Colony of
New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony of New Zealand, this Thirtieth day of December, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME—GREETING :
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS I, being desirous that the General Assembly should be holden as soon
as may be, do declare that I have this day signed my Warrant for the Issue of
Writs, in due form, for the election of duly qualified persons to serve as Members
of the House of Representatives, which Writs are to bear date on the Thirtieth day
of December, 1870, and to be returnable on the Twenty-fifth day of February next.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir GEORGE FERGUSON BOWEN,
