NOTE.—The sums payable to the several Provinces under "The Payments to Provinces Act, 1870," are dependent on the services charged provincially in the Annual Appropriation Act. That Act not having
been passed till 13th September, the sums so payable could not be ascertained within the Quarter. The required payments were made during October.
