THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
& Lighthouse erected on a knoll at the extreme end
of Cape Campbell, in Lat. 41° 43' 15" S., and Long.
174° 18' 30" E.
The Tower is an open-framed structure of timber,
73 feet in height from the base to the top of the
lantem, and is painted in alternate bands of red and
white.
The Light is elevated about 155 feet from the sea
level, and may be seen in clear weather at a distance
of 19 nautic miles, allowing 15 feet for the height of
the observer's eye.
It is a revolving White Light, of the second order
Dioptrie, attaining its greatest brilliancy once a
minute, and will be seen all round from seaward
between the magnetic bearings of N. W. and E. by
N. N.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership
between the undersigned Patrick Francis Smyth
and John Corr, in the trade or business of Store-
keepers, at Westport, in the Province of Nelson, in
New Zealand, under the firm of "P. F. Smyth and
Co.," was this day dissolved by mutual consent; and
in future the business will be carried on by the said
John Corr on his separate account. The said John
Corr will pay and receive all debts owing from and to
the said Partnership in the regular course of business.

Otago, New Zealand.

I, GEORGE MURRAY WEBSTER, a Doctor of
Medicine of the University of Edinburgh, &c.,
Licentiate of the Royal College of Surgeons of S
Edinburgh, now residing at Oamaru, Otago, New
Zealand, hereby give notice that it is my intention to
apply to the Registrar for the District of Dunedin,
on the fifteenth day of August, 1870, or one month
from the date of the publication of this notice in the
Government Gazette, to be registered as a Physician
and Surgeon, in terms of "The Medical Practitioners'
Registration Act, 1869," and I have deposited my
degree and diploma in the office of the said Registrar
of Dunedin for public inspection.

PIONEER STEEL COMPANY, Limited.-Notice
is hereby given, that an Extraordinary General
Meeting of "The Pioneer Steel Company, Limited,"
will be held at the registered office of the Company
in Brougham Street, New Plymouth, on Wednesday,
31st August, 1870, at the hour of 4 p.m., for the
purpose of confirming the following Resolution, which
was passed by three-fourths in number and value of
the Shareholders of the Company, for the time being
entitled to vote, present at a meeting of the Company
held at the registered office of the Company in
Brougham Street, New Plymouth, on Tuesday, the
26th July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy,
duly convened for that purpose:-

Resolution-" It is resolved that 'The Pioneer
Steel Company' be wound up voluntarily."

is hereby given, that at an Extraordinary
General Meeting of "The Pioneer Steel Company,
Limited," held at the registered office of the Company
in Brougham Street, New Plymouth, on Tuesday,
the 26th July, 1870, at the hour of 4 o'clock p.m.,
of which meeting a notice specifying the intention
to propose the following Resolution had been duly
given, the following Resolution was passed by three-
fourths in number and value of such Shareholders of
the Company, for the time being entitled to vote, as
were present in person thereat :-
