repayment of the said Loan of twenty-five thousand
pounds (£25,000), and the sum of three thousand one
hundred pounds (£3,100) of the said accumulated
Sinking Fund, together with the Sinking Fund here-
after accruing thereon, will be sufficient to reproduce
the said sum of nine thousand six hundred pounds
(9,600), being the amount of the outstanding and un-
-converted portion of the said Loan of twenty-five
thousand pounds (£25,000), on or before the first day of
July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven,
being the day fixed by law for the repayment thereof:
And whereas it has also been made to appear to
the said Commissioners that Debentures to the
amount of thirty-six thousand five hundred pounds
(£36,500), being part of the Debentures to the
amount of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) issued
under "The Wellington Loan Act, 1866," No. 3,
being one of the Acts named in the second schedule
to the said "Public Debts Sinking Funds Act, 1868,"
have been converted or exchanged for Debentures
issued under "The Consolidated Loan Act, 1867," and
that the amount of the Debentures still outstanding
and unconverted of the said Loan of fifty thousand
pounds (£50,000) is thereby reduced to the sum of
thirteen thousand five hundred pounds (£13,500) :
And whereas the sum of two thousand nine hundred
and eleven pounds seven shillings and eightpence
(£2,911 7s. 8d.) is held by the said Commissioners as
accumulated Sinking Fund for the repayment of the
said Loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000), and
the sum of one thousand and seventy nine pounds
and seven shillings (£1,079 7s.) of the said accumu-
lated Sinking Fund, together with the Sinking Fund
hereafter accruing thereon, will be sufficient to repro-
-duce the said sum of thirteen thousand five hundred
pounds (£13,500), being the amount of the out-
standing and unconverted portion of the said Loan
of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000), on or before the
first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-six, being the day fixed by law for the repay-
ment thereof:

Now know ye that the Commissioners of the
Public Debts Sinking Funds, by this their award in
writing, do determine that the sum of five thousand
five hundred and sixteen pounds six shillings and
elevenpence (£5,516 6s. 11d.), being part of the said
accumulated Sinking Fund so held by them for the
payment of the Debentures issued under "The
Wellington Loan Act, 1862," No. 11, and also that
the sum of one thousand eight hundred and thirty-
two pounds and eightpence (£1,832 Os. 8d.), being
part of the said accumulated Sinking Fund so held
by them for the payment of the Debentures issued
under "The Wellington Loan Act, 1866," No. 3,
shall be released and paid over to the Provincial
Account of the Province of Wellington, as provided
by the sixth clause of "The Public Debts Sinking
Funds Act Amendment Act, 1869."

November, one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-nine.

NOTICE. - The attention of the Government
having been directed to the fact that certain
Native grantees of lands, which they hold in joint-
tenancy with others who have been implicated in the
rebellion, are using endeavours to relet or otherwise
deal with the said lands, notwithstanding the exist-
-ence of previous leases or other agreements executed

by the whole of the grantees in such cases respec-
tively: All persons are hereby cautioned against
entering into any such engagements, negotiations, or
agreements for leases with any Natives under the
circumstances above alluded to, or in any cases not
sanctioned by law, as the Government will in no
case recognize any title or pretended title founded
upon such irregular and unauthorized proceedings.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership for
some time past carried on by us the undersigned
Judah Myers and David Morris Isaacs, under the
firm or style of "Myers and Isaacs," as Boot and
Shoe Dealers, at the City of Nelson, in the Province
of Nelson, in the Colony of New Zealand, was this
day dissolved by mutual consent, and the business
will henceforth be carried on by the said Judah
Myers alone and in his name; and the said Judah
Myers is authorized to discharge all debts and to
receive all credits on account of the said partnership
concern. As witness our hands, this second day of
November, 1869.

PART I.---PRICE TEN SHILLINGS.

THE Public are informed that the First Part of
the above Work, printed under the authority
of the Government, and comprising the Cases argued
before the Court of Appeal during the last two
years, is now complete and ready for issue. The
Reports are printed on the English model, royal
8vo. size, and contain 164 pages of printed matter.
They have been carefully revised and arranged for
press by His Honor Mr. Justice Johnston. It is
intended to continue the issue, in parts, after each
annual sitting of the Court of Appeal, the folio
to run on continuously from Part I., in order that
the Reports for four years (or five if necessary) may
be bound up in one volume; and when the volume
is complete, a copious Index for the whole will be
prepared.

Orders for the above Work will be received by
the Government Printer, Wellington, and must be
accompanied with a remittance for the amount. The
Book will be forwarded, post free, to any part of the
Colony.
