DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.-Notice
is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore
existing between Thomas Macffarlane, Gustav Von
der Heyde, and George Henderson, under the style
and firm of "Henderson and Macfarlane," termi-
nated on the seventeenth day of September, 1869.

WITH reference to the above notice, Thomas Hen-
derson and Gustav Von der Heyde beg to intimate
that the business lately conducted by the above-
named Copartnership will in future be carried on
by them, under the same name, style, or firm of
"Henderson and Macfarlane."

NOTICE is hereby given, that application has been
made to His Excellency the Governor, by and
on behalf of FREDERICK SPEAR GREAVES, of New
Plymouth, in the Province of Taranaki, Settler, for
the grant to him of Letters Patent pursuant to the
the provisions of "The Patents Act, 1860," for the
exclusive use within the Colony of New Zealand, of
an Invention of a Method or Process of Smelting the
Iron Sand of New Zealand into Steel or Iron by one
process.
Any person desirous of entering an objection to
such grant is required to send, within four months of
the publication hereof, to the office of John Boyle
Bennett, Esquire, the officer appointed to receive the
same, a statement in writing setting forth clearly the
grounds of such objection, subscribed with his proper
name and address.
