I, the undersigned JAMES HULL, hereby make application to register "The Springfield Gold
Mining Company, Registered," under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act,
1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that
the following statement is, to the best of my belief
and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:-

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The
    Springfield Gold Mining Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operations is at Tradesman's Gully,
    Karaka Creek, at Thames Gold Field, in the
    Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is three
    thousand six hundred pounds, in three thousand and
    six hundred shares of one pound each, being the
    estimated value of the claim.
  4. The amount already paid up is two thousand
    nine hundred and seventy pounds.
  5. The name of the manager is James Hull.
  6. The office of the Company is at Shortland.
  7. The names and several residences of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at

    Great Waikaka Company."

  2. The place of operations is at Waikaka, in the
    Province of Otago.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is two
    thousand pounds, in forty shares of fifty pounds
    each.
