N OTICE is hereby given, that Robert Price has
retired from the Copartnership lately carried
on between him and Alfred Henry Price, as Sheep-
farmers, at Motuotaraia, Porangahau District, in the
Province of Hawke's Bay, under the firm of A. and
R. Price, as from the first day of June last. The
Station will be carried on under the same style as
hitherto by the said Alfred Henry Price.

I, the undersigned MATTHEW H. FROST, hereby
make application to register "The Clydesdale
Gold Mining Company, Registered," under the pro-
visions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability
Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare
that the following statement is, to the best of my
belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The
    Clydesdale Gold Mining Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operations is at the Whakatete
    Creek, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province
    of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-
    four thousand pounds, in nine thousand six hundred
    shares of two pounds ten shillings each.
  4. The amount already paid up is twenty-one
    thousand six hundred pounds.
  5. The name of the manager is Matthew H. Frost.
  6. The office of the Company is at the Royal
    Exchange, Pollen Street, Shortland.
  7. The names and several residences of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at
    this date, are as follows:—

(Copy of Sheriff's Notice of Sale of Real Estate in
the terms of the Act.)

In re Joseph McGiffert Cleland, Plaintiff; and John
McManaway, Defendant.

Amount recovered, £57 19s. 6d.

I hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ of
Fieri Facias to me directed, I have caused my
Bailiff to enter upon Section number thirty-five on
the official plan of the District of Makara, in the
Province of Wellington, containing one hundred
acres, more or less, situated at Makara, in the Pro-
vince of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand,
and being the freehold property of the above-named
Defendant, John McManaway (such land having been
taken in execution at the suit of the execution credi-
tor), and that it is my intention to sell, or cause the
said property to be sold by public auction, at Thomas's
Auction Mart, Lambton Quay, in the city of Wel-
lington, on Saturday, the 11th day of December, 1869,
at two o'clock, p.m., unless satisfaction be sooner
made of said amount of judgment and all further
costs and expenses incidental thereto.

And I further give notice that Mr. Frank Morton
Ollivier, of the City of Wellington, is the Solicitor
for the Plaintiff.
