the undersigned WILLIAM SCOTT LYELL, hereby
make application to register "The Happy-go-
Lucky Gold Mining Company, Registered," under
the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sin-
cereIy declare that the following statement is, to the
best of my belief and knowledge, true in every
particular, namely:-
- The name and style of the Company is "The
Happy-go-Lucky Gold Mining Company, Registered." - The place of operations is at the Karaka Creek,
at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auck-
land, in the Colony of New Zealand. - The nominal capital of the Company is six
thousand pounds, in two thousand four hundred
shares of two pounds ten shillings each. - The amount already paid up is four thousand
pounds. - The name of the manager is William Scott Lyell.
- The office of the Company is at Graham's Town.
- The names and several residences of the share-
holders, and the number of shares held by each at
this date, are as follows, namely:-

Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and
sincerely declare that the following statement is, to
the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every
particular, namely:-
- The name and style of the Company is "The
Monte Christo Gold Mining Company, Registered." - The place of operations is at the Otonui Block,
Mangakirikiri Creek, Thames Gold Fields. - The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-
one thousand pounds, representing the value of the
mine, in twenty-one thousand shares of one pound
each. - The amount already paid up is sixteen thousand
pounds. - The name.of the manager is Robert Gordon
Macdonald. - The office of the Company is at Shortland Street,
Auckland. - The names and several residences of the share-
