I, the undersigned William Swinton Laurie, hereby make application to register "The Inverness Gold Mining Company, Registered," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my knowledge and belief, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Inverness Gold Mining Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operations is the Thames Gold Field.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is fifty-five thousand pounds, in eleven thousand shares of five pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is forty-nine thousand five hundred pounds.
  5. The name of the manager is William Swinton Laurie.
  6. The office of the Company is in Custom-house Street, City of Auckland.

I, the undersigned Joseph Lyle, hereby make application to register "The Golden Reef Quartz Mining Company, Registered," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Golden Reef Quartz Mining Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operations is at the Waiotahi Creek, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is £15,000, in 5000 shares of £3 each.
  4. The amount paid up is £10,000.
  5. The name of the manager is Joseph Lyle.
  6. The office of the Company is in Owen Street, Graham’s Town.
