NOTE.—The sums shown as payable to Taranaki and Marlborough have been withheld to adjust balances of corresponding amounts at debit of those Provinces at the close of the preceding
Quarter. The sum paid to Southland was the amount due to that Province for December; but on the whole Quarter the debits exceeded the credits by the sum of £2,777 7s. 10d.
