NOTE.—The difference in value of the larger quantity of Gold Exported last quarter, as compared with that of the previous
year, is accounted for by the increased quantity from Auckland, the official value of which is fixed at £3 3s. per ounce, whilst
the value of gold from other Provinces is fixed at £4 per ounce.
