1867," notice is hereby given that transcripts of—
"The amended Laws (1868) for the Govern-
ment of the Ancient Order of Foresters
Friendly Society in the United Otago Dis-
trict;"
"Rules of the Otago District Branch of the
Independent Order of Odd Fellows of the
Manchester Unity Friendly Society;"
"Rules and Regulations of the Widows' and
Orphans' Institution, Otago District Branch
of the M.U.I.O.O.F.;" and
"Amended Rules of Court Southern Cross, No.
3,123, Ancient Order of Foresters, Timaru;"
duly certified, has been lodged with the Registrar of
Friendly Societies, registered and recorded in his
office under the provisions of "The Friendly Societies
Act, 1867."

I, JOHN ELISHA SMITH, Registrar of Joint
Stock Companies for the Province of Welling-
ton, do hereby notify that I have registered a Memo-
randum of Association, with Articles of Association
annexed, establishing a Company, with limited lia-
bility of the shareholders therein, entitled
"The Wreck Recovery Company, Limited,"
the objects of which are the purchase of the s.s.
"Taranaki," and the doing all such things as are
necessary or incidental to the raising of the said
steamer from where she now lies sunken to the sur-
face, and afterwards disposing of her as may best
seem suited to the interest of the Company, and the
earning of salvage dues in connection therewith:
And that, in pursuance of the provisions of "The
Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860," I have issued a
certificate of incorporation of the said Company,
bearing date the eighth day of March, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-nine.

Ranulph Dacre, of Auckland, merchants, bank-
rupts; and in the matter of "The Debtors and
Creditors Act, 1862," "The Debtors and Creditors
Act Amendment Act, 1865," and "The Debtors
and Creditors Acts Amendment Act, 1866."
Friday the fifth day of February, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
THE matter of the Petition coming on this day for
the hearing thereof: and upon reading the order of
sequestration and vesting of the estate of the above-
named bankrupts made in these matters, and dated
the twelfth day of July, 1867; and upon reading the
order made in these matters, dated the eighth day of
January, 1868; and upon reading an affidavit of
Jonathan Tonson Garlick, sworn and filed in this
honourable Court on the third day of February,
1869; and upon hearing Mr. John Benjamin Russell,
of counsel for the bankrupts, it is ordered that the
bankrupts be and they are hereby released and
discharged from all their debts, liabilities, and
engagements specified in their said Petition, and in
the Schedule or Schedules thereto.

NOTICE is hereby given, that it is intended to
introduce a Bill into the Provincial Council
of the Province of Otago, at its next Session,
authorizing the Superintendent of the said Province
of Otago to take compulsorily (for the purpose of
completing a District Road in the Stoney Creek
District) a portion of Section 5, Block III., on
the map of the North Tuakitoto District, and also
portions of Sections 1 and 2 of Block VIII. on the
map of the said district.
And notice is hereby further given, that a copy of
the Bill so intended to be introduced as aforesaid
may be inspected at the office of the Clerk of the
said Provincial Council, on and after the fourteenth
day of March next ensuing the date hereof.
