FREEMASONS' Hall Company, Limited.-Notice
is hereby given, that pursuant to clause 109,
paragraph 10, of "The Joint Stock Companies Act,
1860," a General Meeting of the Shareholders of the
above Company will be held at the Company's Office,
Brougham Street, on Monday, the twenty-first day
of December next, at four o'clock p.m., for the
purpose of considering the account of the Liquidator,
showing the manner in which the winding up of the
said Company has been conducted and its property
disposed of.

I, the undersigned NATHANIEL WILLIAM MASSEY,
hereby make application to register "The British
Empire Gold Mining Company, Registered," under
the provisions of "The Mining Companies' Limited
Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best
of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely :-

  1. The name and style of the Company is, "The
    British Empire Gold Mining Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operations is Karaka Block, Thames
    Gold Field.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is £7,200,
    in 720 shares of ten pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is £3,510.
  5. The name of the manager is Nathaniel William
    Massey.
  6. The office of the Company is at the office of
    Messrs. Massey, Otway, and Co., Brown Street,
    Grahamstown.
  7. The names and several residences of the Share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at
    this date, are as follows:-

and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
All applications for the insertion of private advertisements in
the New Zealand Gazette should be addressed to the Govern-
ment Printer, Wellington, and at the same time, pre-payment
(by money order when necessary) at the above rates must be
made to him. No advertisement will be inserted in the Gazette
unless the whole amount due on account of the same is pre-
paid.
