And this Court doth accordingly direct that the
Schedule annexed to this said petition be amended by
specifying such of the said debts (if any) as are not
already specified. And upon consideration of the
matters aforesaid, at this the final hearing of the said
petition, and it appearing to the Court that the
estates and effects of the said debtor are not of
sufficient value to pay over and beyond the estimated
costs of realization to each and every of the creditors
of the said debtor who have proved their debts, six
shillings and eightpence in the pound, for every
pound of every debt so proved, the Court doth
declare relief under "The Debtors and Creditors
Acts, 1862," shall not be granted by the Court to the
said debtor until after the expiration of six calendar
months from the date of this order. And this Court
doth order that Frederic Henry Melville Walker of
Christchurch, in the Canterbury District aforesaid,
accountant, be and he is hereby appointed trustee,
to recover and receive all debts, moneys, goods,
chattels, estate, and effects in any way belonging
or due or payable to the said debtor, upon the trusts
with the powers and subject to the conditions
requisite, for the purpose of selling, disposing of,
getting in, and receiving or otherwise realizing such
estate, moneys, goods, chattels, and effects, thereof
in the first place of payment of all fees
payable by law, and in the next place of satisfying
all costs, charges, and expenses incurred by order of
the Court or incidental to the execution of such
trusts, and all fees of Court and such other sums of
money (if any) as shall be ordered by the Court, and
for the purpose of a just distribution, and
administration of such estate and effects, between
and amongst and for the benefit of all the creditors
of the said debtor who shall have so proved their
debts or claims as aforesaid, by way of pro rata
distribution, subject to existing legal priorities, and
subject thereto to all such creditors of the said
debtor (if any) at the time of filing the said petition,
as shall within six calendar months of the date of
this order have proved their claims to the satisfaction
of the Court, or a Judge thereof, likewise by way of
pro rata distribution subject to existing legal
priorities. And it is hereby declared that the said
debtor shall, after the expiration of six calendar
months from the date of this order, be released and
discharged from all debts, liabilities, and engage-
ments specified herein, namely: —

District.

In the matter of the Debtors and Creditors Acts,
and in the matter of George Arthur Emilius Ross,
a debtor, and in the matter of the petition of Rose
Alice Poole, a creditor.

FRIDAY the fifteenth day of November, 1867, at a
sitting of the Court pursuant to the said Acts, and
upon reading the petition and the affidavit of Rose
Alice Poole, presented herein on the fourth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven, and the
order made herein on the said fourth day of October
now last past, and the affidavit of James Bickerton
Fisher sworn herein, and filed on the thirtieth day of
October now last past, the said debtor being unable
to appear by reason of ill health, and upon hearing
Mr. Cowlishaw, of counsel for the said petitioner :
This Court doth declare the said petitioner's debt
amounting to the sum of seventy-three pounds and
six shillings is duly proved, and that the said debtor
is entitled to full relief according to the provisions of
the said Acts. And this Court doth appoint Edwin Graham, of the City of Christchurch, in the
said Province, accountant, to be the trustee of the
estate and effects of the said debtor, and doth order
that Edward Smith Wilcocks, Esquire, the Registrar
of the Supreme Court of New Zealand for the
Canterbury District, do in the name and on behalf of
