PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following Names of OFFICIATING
MINISTERS within the meaning of the said Act are
published for general information :-

I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar-General of Births,
Deaths, and Marriages, in New Zealand, do hereby
certify that the foregoing NAMES of OFFICIATING
MINISTERS within the meaning of "The Marriage
Act, 1854," have been sent in to me, in addition to
the names in Lists published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 7, of the 29th of January; No. 9, of
the 11th of February; No. 12, of the 28th of
February; No. 23, of the 12th of April; No. 29, of
the 16th of May; No. 32, of the 1st of June; No.
36, of the 27th of June; No. 43, of the 7th of
August, and No. 45, of the 31st of August, in the
present year.

Given under my hand at Wellington, this
eighteenth day of September, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-seven.

GEORGE BOWRON, Registrar of Joint Stock
Companies for the Province of Canterbury,
do hereby notify that I have registered a Memoran-
dum of Association with Articles of Association,
establishing a Company (with limited liability of the
shareholders therein), intituled

"THE CANTERBURY AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE
EXPORT COMPANY (LIMITED); "

the objects of which are the kiln drying of grain, the
malting of barley, the curing of bacon and pork, the
purchase, storing, and exportation of all kinds of
agricultural produce, the advance of money to share-
holders on the receipt of their produce, and the doing
of all such other things as are incidental or conducive
to the attainment of the above objects.

And that in pursuance of the provisions of "The
Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860," I have issued a
Certificate of Incorporation of the said Company,
bearing date this 16th day of September, 1867.

I, the undersigned JOHN LILLIE GILLIES, make
application to register "The Table Hill Quartz
Mining Company, Registered," under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act,
1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that
the following statement is, to the best of my belief
and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:---

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The
    Table Hill Quartz Mining Company, Registered."

  2. The place of operations is at Table Hill, in
    the Province of Otago.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is two
    thousand and sixty-five pounds in two thousand and
    sixty-five shares at one pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up is one thousand
    six hundred and fifty-two pounds.

  5. The name of the manager is John Lillie Gillies.

  6. The office of the Company is at the Council
    Chambers, Tokomairiro.

  7. The names and several residences of the share-
    holders and the number of shares held by each at this

provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Lia-
bility Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best
of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:-

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The
    Argyle Quartz Mining Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operations is at the River Wai-
    mangoroa, adjoining the Westport Company's claim.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is ten
    thousand pounds in two thousand shares of five
    pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is two thousand
    five hundred pounds.
  5. The name of the manager is Henry Elmes
    Campbell.
  6. The office of the Company is at No. 1 Moles-
    worth Street, Westport.
  7. The names and several addresses of the share..
