ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At Wellington, the twenty-eighth day of June, 1867.
Present:
THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly
of New Zealand, intituled "The Diseased
Cattle Act Amendment Act, 1865," (section 4) the
Governor may, by any Order in Council, from time to
time, annul, make void, or alter or vary and make
anew any Orders in Council, regulations, appoint-
ments, or prohibitory or other declarations made and
published by the Governor under the authority of
"The Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," or of this Act, or
by the Superintendent of any Province, under or in
pursuance of any power delegated to him under any
of the powers of delegation contained in the said
Acts; and whereas by section five of the said Amend-
ment Act "as to regulations, appointments, and
prohibitory and other declarations made by Superin-
tendents of Provinces in pursuance of any powers
delegated under the powers of delegation contained
in the said Act or this Act, the power of annulling,
making void, or allowing or varying and making anew
any such regulations, appointments, or prohibitory or
other declarations vested in the Governor by this
Act, may from time to time be delegated by the
Governer in Council by warrant under his hand to
the Superintendent of any Province :"
Now therefore, His Excellency Sir George Grey,
K.C.B., in exercise of the power and authority so
vested in him as Governor as aforesaid, doth by this
Order in Council delegate to John Williamson,
Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland,
so long and so long only as he shall continue to be
such Superintendent, all the powers which by the
said fifth section of the said Amendment Act the
Governor in Council is authorized so to delegate.

of Taranaki, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough,
Canterbury, and Southland.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, the
twenty-eighth day of June, 1867.
Present:
THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Customs Regulation Act,
1858," it is amongst other things enacted
that any goods whatever may by Proclamation or
Order of the Governor in Council, revocable from
time to time, be prohibited to be exported, and if any
goods shall be exported from the Colony contrary to
any such prohibition, or be waterborne to be so
exported or carried they shall be forfeited, and any
person offending against the provisions of any such
Proclamation or Order, shall for every such offence
forfeit and pay the sum of Five hundred pounds.
And whereas it is advisable to prohibit the export-
ation of fire arms, gunpowder, munitions of war, and
warlike stores, to the South Sea Islands:
Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by
and with the advice of the Executive Council, doth,
in pursuance of the hereinbefore recited provisions
of the said Act, by this present Order, absolutely
prohibit the exportation from New Zealand to any
of the South Sea Islands of all fire arms, gunpowder,
munitions of war, and warlike stores.

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME,
GREETING:
WHEREAS by "The Regulation of Elections Act,
1858," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for
the Governor, by warrant under his hand, from time
to time, to appoint polling places for each electoral
district within or without the limits thereof, and to
appoint any one of such places to be the principal
polling place for the district, and all or any of such
polling places at any time to abolish, and to appoint
other polling places in lieu thereof.
ERRATUM.-In New Zealand Gazette No. 36, of June 27, 1867, page 273, the name of RICHARD EDWARD FIELD, Registrar
of Marriages, and of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, for the District of Manuherikia, was erroneously printed as RICHARD
EDWIN FIELD.
