Deaths, and Marriages, for the District of Inver-
cargill, in the Province of Southland.

OFFICERS holding advances under imprest are
required to send their accounts to the Sub-
Treasurers of their respective Provinces on or before
the 15th June next. and to pay in any unexpended
balances then in their hands.
The Sub-Treasurers have been directed to with-
hold payment of the salary of any officer failing to
comply with this regulation.

IN order that the accounts of the financial year
ending on the 30th June next may comprehend
and include all transactions relating to that period,
Receivers of Revenue are directed to pay into the
Public Account on the 29th June, the amount of
their collections to the close of business on that date.
Receivers at places distant from a bank are re-
quired to pay to the Public Account the amount of
their collections to the latest date possible prior to
the 30th June, and to show in their statements of
account for the period ending on that day the
balance of cash, if any, in their possession.
These balances are to be brought forward in the
first statement of account for July, and are to be
written off in that statement by the bank receipt in
the usual way.

NOTICE. In order that the accounts of the
financial year ending on the 30th June next
may comprehend and include all transactions relating
to that period, it is requested that persons having
claims on the Government will send in their accounts
to the respective Sub-Treasuries with a view to pay-
ment before that date.
