Barrister-at-Law, to be Revising Officer under "The
Friendly Societies Act, 1856," and "The Building
and Land Societies Act, 1866," for the Province of
Auckland, vice E. J. Cox, whose appointment has
been cancelled.

THE following Ordinances passed by the Provincial
Council of Southland, and reserved by the
Superintendent for the signification of the Governor's
pleasure thereon, intituled—
"The Licensing Ordinance, 1865, Amendment
Ordinance, 1867;"
"The Appropriation Ordinance, 1867;
having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency
has been pleased to assent to the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following
Tender has been accepted by the Government.

ROBERT BURRETT, for Bookbinding for twelve
months, commencing 1st April, 1867, at the following
rates:-
Demy folio books, 4 quires and under:—Whole
bound, rough calf, gilt lettered on back, short
title and date, 6s. 6d. (six shillings and sixpence).
For every additional quire, 6d. (sixpence).
Ditto, ditto:—Half-bound, rough calf, cloth sides,
gilt lettered on back, short title and date, 5s.
(five shillings).
For every additional quire, 6d. (sixpence).
Foolscap folio books, 4 quires and under:—Whole
bound, calf, gilt lettered on back, short title and
date, 5s. 6d. (five shillings and sixpence).
For every additional quire, 4d. (fourpence).
Ditto, ditto:—Half-bound calf, cloth sides, gilt
lettered on back, short title and date, 3s. 6d.
(three shillings and sixpence).
For every additional quire, 4d. (fourpence).
Ditto, ditto:—Half-bound calf, marble paper sides,
gilt lettered on back, short title and date, 3s.
(three shillings.)
For every additional quire, 4d. (fourpence).
Demy 4to, 4 quires:—Ditto, ditto, 2s. 6d. (two
shillings and sixpence).
Demy 8vo:—Ditto, ditto, 2s. (two shillings).
Cold pressing, and binding in blue paper covers,
Statutes, Journals, and Appendix of General
Assembly, at per quire, 3d. (threepence).
Folding, stitching, and cutting Parliamentary papers
(8 pages or under), at per hundred, 9d. (nine-
pence).
For every additional sheet, 4d. (fourpence).
