grant Letters of Registration, dated the 31st
day of July, 1866, under "The Patents Act, 1860,"
in favor of

JAMES HART,
of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, Engineer,
(who has previously obtained Letters Patent in the
said Colony of Victoria, dated the 24th day of
January, 1862) for an invention for "Hart's
Improvements in Machinery for crushing amalga-
mating and washing Quartz or Earthy Materials,
and collecting Gold and other Metallic Substances
therefrom," with all the privileges thereto belonging.
