ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
first day of August, 1866.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Court of Appeal Act, 1862,"
it is enacted that the Court shall hold its
sittings at such times and places as shall be from
time to time fixed by the Governor in Council, and
proclaimed in the New Zealand Gazette, sixty days at
least before the times so fixed respectively:
Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
New Zealand, doth hereby fix that a sitting of the
Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall be held within
the Supreme Court, in the City of Wellington, and
the Province of Wellington, upon the ninth day of
October, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six,
at eleven of the clock in the forenoon.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly
of New Zealand intituled "The Supreme Court
Act, 1860," it is provided that there shall be held
Circuit Courts for the despatch of civil and criminal
business of the Court before one of the Judges
thereof, at such places and times as the Governor in
Council may from time to time appoint:
Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of New Zealand, doth hereby fix and appoint
that a Circuit Court shall be held at Nelson, in the
Province of Nelson, on Wednesday, the twelfth day
of September next, or as soon after as may be con-
venient for the despatch of civil and criminal business.

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME,
GREETING:
WHEREAS by "The Regulation of Elections Act,
1858," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for
the Governor, by warrant under his hand, from time
to time, to appoint polling places for each electoral
district within or without the limits thereof, and to
appoint any one of such places to be the principal
polling place for the district, and all or any of such
polling places at any time to abolish, and to appoint
other polling places in lieu thereof.
And whereas by warrant under the hand of the
Governor, certain places were appointed polling
places for the Province of Otago, for the election of
Superintendent and Members of the Provincial
Council thereof:
And whereas it is expedient to abolish the same:
Now know ye, that I, Sir George Grey, the
Governor of the said Colony, in pursuance of the
power and authority in me vested by the said
Act, do hereby abolish the above-named polling
places for the Province of Otago, for the election
of Superintendent and Members of Provincial Council,
and do appoint in lieu thereof:
Clutha District--The Court House, Balclutha;
the School House, Warepa; the School House,
South Clutha.
Dunedin District--The Provincial Government
Buildings, Dunedin; the School House, North
Dunedin.
Dunstan District--The Court House, Clyde; the
Court House, Alexandra; the Court House,
Roxburgh; the Court House, Cromwell; the
Court House, St. Bathan's.
Gold Fields District--The Court House, Clyde;
the Court House, Lawrence; the Court House,
Queenstown; the Court House, Alexandra;
