haere i roto o Mangoruka ki tona tutukitanga kia

Compensation Court,
New Plymouth, 6th July, 1866.
NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the
Compensation Court will be holden at New
Plymouth on Thursday, the 27th day of September
next, and following days, for the purpose of hearing
and determining the claims of persons to compen-
sation on account of the taking under the authority
of "The New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863," of so
much of the Ngatiruanui Coast Block, (hereunder
described) as lies between the Kaupokonui and
Hangatahua Rivers.
NGATIRUANUI COAST.
Bounded on the north by the River Hangatahua,
from its mouth to the southern angle of the Oakura
District, and thence by a straight line passing between
the Pouakai and Patua Ranges to the point where
a Native path passing in the same direction inter-
sects the south-western boundary of the Tapuae (or
Omata) Block; on the north-east by the said south-
west boundary, and by the south-east boundary of
the said Tapuae Block to the River Mangoraka,
thence by the said River Mangoraka to its source,
thence by a straight line to the summit of Mount
Egmont, and thence by a straight line to Parikino
and the Whanganui River; on the south-east by the
said River Whanganui, from Parkino to the sea; and
on the south-west by the sea, from the mouth of the
said River Whanganui to the mouth of said River
Hangatahua.

hereby make application to register "The
Mountain Water Race Company, Registered," under
the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best of
my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:—
- The name and style of the Company is "The
Mountain Water Race Company." - The place of operations is at St. Bathan's.
- The nominal capital of the Company is four
thousand pounds, in ten shares of four hundred
pounds each. - The amount already paid up is four thousand
