IN conformity with the 29th clause of "The Gold
Fields Acts Amendment Act, 1865," it is hereby
notified that it is intended to grant a Lease for Gold-
mining purposes of the Crown Lands to the appli-
cants specified in the following Schedule.

I, JOHN BOYLE BENNETT, Registrar of
Joint Stock Companies for the Provinces of
Auckland and Hawke's Bay, in the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby notify that I have registered a
Memorandum of Association, with Articles of
Association annexed, establishing a Company (with
limited liability of the shareholders therein) entitled,
"THE ONEHUNGA AND MANGERE BRIDGE COMPANY
(LIMITED);"
the objects of which are "the erection and main-
tenance of a bridge across the Manukau, from
Onehunga to Mangere, and the conveyance thereby
of passengers, with and without horses, cattle,
carriages, and other vehicles, and the carriage of all
other sorts and descriptions of goods and chattels
between Onehunga and Mangere, and the adjacent
districts, and the doing all such other things as are
incidental or conducive to the attainment of the
above objects or any and every of them."
And, that in pursuance of the provisions of "The
Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860," I have issued a
Certificate of Incorporation of the said Company,
bearing date this eleventh day of June, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-six.

General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following name of an OFFICIATING | I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar-General of Births,
Deaths, and Marriages, in New Zealand, do hereby
certify that the foregoing NAME of an OFFICIATING
MINISTER within the meaning of "The Marriage
Act, 1854," has been sent in to me, in addition to
the names in Lists published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 9, of the 30th of January; No. 13, of
the 3rd March; No. 17, of the 24th March; No. 20,
of the 11th of April; No. 22, of the 24th of April;
No. 28, of the 14th of May; No. 34, of the 8th
of June; No. 36, of the 20th June; and No. 41, of
the 6th July, in the present year.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this
tenth day of July, 1866.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand: Otago and
Southland District.
In the matter of the petition of Henry Hawson, of
Clutha Ferry, in the Province of Otago, butcher,
a bankrupt, lately a prisoner for debt in the
gaol, Dunedin, in the said Province; and in
the matter of "The Debtors and Creditors Act,
1862," and "The Debtors and Creditors Act
Amendment Act, 1865."
THE matter of this petition coming on this day for
the second hearing thereof. Upon reading the
order for sequestration and vesting of the estate of
the bankrupt, made in these matters, and dated the
sixteenth day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-six, and upon hearing Mr. Cook,
his counsel, it is ordered that the interim sequestra-
tor, James Alfred Webb, of Dunedin, accountant, be
and is hereby appointed sole Trustee of the estate
and effects of the bankrupt; and it is further ordered
that all the real and personl estate of the bankrupt,
which shall vest in the said James Alfred Webb, by
virtue of his said appointment, shall be held by him,
his heirs, executors and administrators, respectively,
(except the wearing apparel of the bankrupt, his
wife and children, which shall be retained by them)
upon and for the following trusts and purposes,
namely :--
-
To sell, collect, and get in such real and per-
sonal estate, and receive the moneys arising therefrom
and execute all necessary conveyances and assurances
thereof. -
To retain and pay all expenses properly incurred
of and attending such sale, collection, and getting in. -
To pay the poundage and fees payable under
the above-mentioned Acts. -
To pay the costs properly incurred of and
incidental to the petition in these matters, and sub-
sequent thereto, such costs to be taxed; and also all
costs and expenses in these matters which have been
or shall be ordered by this Court, or by any judge
thereof, to be paid out of the estate of the bankrupt. -
To distribute the net residue of the said trust
moneys between and amongst and for the benefit of
all the creditors of the bankrupt who were his
creditors at the time of the presentation of his said.
petition, and who shall duly prove their debts, by
affidavit within three calendar months from the date
of this order, by way of pro rata distribution subject
to existing legal priorities, but so that the said
creditors shall not receive more than twenty shillings
in the pound, upon their said respective debts. -
To pay the ultimate surplus (if any) of the said
trust moneys to the bankrupt.
