DUNEDIN Waterworks Company.—Amendment
and alteration of Act.—Notice is hereby given
that application is intended to be made to the Gene-
ral Assembly at the ensuing session thereof, for leave
to bring in a Bill to amend "The Dunedin Water-
works Act, 1864," by repealing section XII of the
said Act, enabling the Company to borrow money on
mortgage, and for granting other powers in lieu
thereof, and for enabling the Company to let meters
for hire, and for providing against the using or taking
of the water of the Company without agreement,
and for other purposes.

And notice is hereby further given that copies of
the proposed Bill will be deposited in the Private
Bill Office, and at the Office of the Colonial Secret
tary, within fourteen days after the commencemen-
of the said session.
