  1. Sept. To cash, balance in Union Bank
    To cash, Letter of Credit on do.
    N.B.-A set of three Bills of Exchange,
    drawn by the Bank of Ireland on Coutts
    and Co. for £500, and payable to deceased,
    handed over to me by the widow, but never
    accepted, though duly presented. Claimed
    by the brother, as executor of a will in
    England: proved there, but not here.
    Also, certain furniture, &c. (see Inven-
    tory filed 8th May, 1860), claimed by widow
    for life under said will, not sold or pos-
    sessed by me.
    To cash of the widow for desk, &c.,
    &c. (see Inventory), sold her, to
    be taken home to brother
