JACOB'S RIVER HUNDRED.
That portion of the said Province bounded on the
North by the northern boundary of Block VIII.,
Jacob's River Hundred, and a line running due west
(true bearing) in continuation thereof; on the North-
east by a stream running into the Aparima River to
the northward of the Yellow Bluff; on the Eastward
and part North by the Waimatuku Moss, and thence
by the Waimatuku Stream to the ocean; on the West
by a line running due north and south (true bearing),
in transit with the top of Ferndunlaw; and on the
South-west by the Aparima River, from the northern
boundary of Block VIII., to the stream to the north-
ward of the Yellow Bluff.
OTERAMIKA HUNDRED.
That portion of the said Province bounded on the
North by a line running due east and west (true
bearing), from the Invercargill Hundred to the Ma-
taura River, being 664 links north of Trig. Station I.,
in the Oteramika Hundred; on the East by the Ma-
taura River; on the South by the ocean; on the
West by the Campbelltown and Invercargill Hundreds.
MATAURA HUNDRED.
That portion of the said Province bounded on the
North by a due east and west line (true bearing), from
the south-west corner of Section No. 15, Block III.,
Lothian Hundred, to the Otu Stream, thence by the
Otu Stream to the Mataura River; on the East by
the Mataura River; on the South by part of the
Oteramika Hundred; on the West by a line running
from the south-west corner of Section No. 15, Block
III., Lothian Hundred, at a bearing of 187Β° 48' 00"
(on the true meridian) to the Oteramika Stream, thence
by the Oteramika Stream till it cuts the south boun-
dary aforesaid.
APARIMA HUNDRED.
That portion of the said Province bounded on the
North by a due east and west line (true bearing), on
transit with Trig. Station V., on Woody Knoll; on
the East by the Aparima River; on the South by part
of the Jacob's River Hundred; on the West by a due
north and south line (true bearing), in transit with
the top of Ferndunlaw Hill.
MABEL HUNDRED.
That portion of the said Province bounded on the
North by part of the Makarewa and Hedgehope
Rivers and the Titipua Stream; on the East by a due
north and South line (true bearing), in transit with
the eastern boundary of the Dacre Township; on the
South by part of the Oteramika Hundred; on the
West and South-west by the Invercargill Hundred.
LOTHIAN HUNDRED.
That portion of the said Province bounded on the
North by the Titipua Stream and Block V., Lindhurst
District; on the East by Block XXVI., Lindhurst
District, and the Mataura Hundred; on the South
by the Oteramika Hundred; on the West by the
Mabel Hundred.
WINTON HUNDRED.
That portion of the said Province bounded on the
North by a line running due east and west (true
bearing) through Trig. Station V., on Woody Knoll,
including the Township of Limehills; on the East by
a north and south line (true bearing), in transit with
the east boundary of Block III. in the same Hundred,
to the Otapiri Stream, thence by the Otapiri Stream,
and a line in continuation of the last-mentioned line,
till it cuts the northern boundary aforesaid; on the
South by the New River Hundred; on the West by
the Oreti River.
ORETI HUNDRED.
That portion of the said Province bounded on the | North by a due east and west line (true bearing), in
transit with Trig. Station V., on Woody Knoll; on
the East by the Oreti River; on the South by the
New River Hundred; on the South-west by the
Jacob's River Hundred; and on the North-west by
the Aparima River.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir
George Grey, Knight Commander of the
Most Honorable Order of the Bath,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and
over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies, at the Govern-
ment House, at Wellington, and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, this
tenth day of April, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.

Government of New South Wales, is repub-
lished for general information.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.
LEADING LIGHTS AND BEACONS FOR NEWCASTLE.
Office of Superintendent of
Pilots, Lights, and Harbours,
Sydney, 10th February, 1866.
In order to increase the facilities for navigating
Newcastle Harbour, leading lights for entering, and
also leading lights for taking the north channel, will
be exhibited on and after Tuesday, the first of May,
1866.
The two fairway lights for entering (red and bright),
will be shown from beacons 228 feet apart, in a S.W.
-S., and N.E. -N. direction, erected on a clear space
of ground on the hill at the back of the town, between
the Wesleyan and Catholic Churches.
Those for taking the north channel, also red and
bright, will be shown from beacons erected on the
breakwater in the vicinity of the old Bull beacons, at
