to be Receiver of Land Revenue for the Pro-
vince of Wellington. This appointment dates
from the 1st instant.

Treasury Notice.
NOTICE is hereby given, that from and after
this date accounts will only be put in Warrant
on the 1st, 9th., 16th., and 23rd., of each month,
and the amounts will then be payable on or
after such days, but no account, abstracts or
accounts, will be so put into Warrant unless
they shall have been sent in to the Treasury
at least two days previously.
Whenever the 1st., 9th, 16th., or 23rd., of
any month shall fall on a Sunday, or Public
Holiday, the day next following will be substi-
tuted.

NOTICE.
Marine Board Office,
Wellington, 27th January, 1865.
THE Light on Mana Island, Cook's Straits,
will be exhibited on and after the 1st Febru-
ary, 1865 It is a fixed white light of the second
order Dioptric, erected at the North West ex-
tremity of the Island, and is elevated about
450 feet above the sea level. The light will be
seen in clear weather at a distance from 25 to
30 miles.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
MIDDLE DISTRICT.
In the matter of James Pike, and in the matter
of the "Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862."
ON the twenty third day of November, one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-four,
upon hearing Mr. Kingdom of Council for
Petitioner, and on reading the affidavit of
Charles Henry Moffit of due compliance by
Petitioner of the Order of Court, made on the
twenty-third day of May last and filed, direct-
ing him to convey his estate and effects to
trustees: It is ordered that Petitioner be
released and discharged from all debts, liabili-
ties, and engagements specified in his petition,
and also filed in this Court.
