PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand passed in the
eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen
Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act, 1854,"
the following Names of OFFICIATING MINISTERS,
within the meaning of the said Act, are published for
general information :--

I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar-General of Births,
Deaths, and Marriages in New Zealand, do hereby
certify that the foregoing NAMES of OFFICIATING
MINISTERS, within the meaning of "The Marriage
Act, 1854," have been sent in to me in addition to
the names in Lists published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 3, of the 31st of January, No. 12, of the
8th of April, and No. 13, of the 25th of April, in the
present year.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this fifth
day of May, 1865.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand. Otago and
Southland District.
In the matter of the Petition of ANDREW HALDANE,
of Waikava, in the Province of Otago, saw-
mill proprietor, a debtor; and in the matter of
"The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862."
UPON reading the Petition of the said Andrew
Haldane, and the affidavit thereto annexed, and
upon hearing Mr. Cook, of counsel for the said
petitioner: It is ordered that the petitioner do on or
before the eighteenth day of March next, or within
such extended time as this Court shall grant for that
purpose, cede and deliver convey and assign all his
estate and effects unto John Bell Mudie, of Dunedin,
merchant, and James Mollison, of the same place,
boot and shoemaker, their heirs, executors, adminis-
trators and assigns, according to the nature and
quality thereof respectively, upon trust, for the pur-
pose of selling, disposing of, getting in and receiving or
otherwise realizing the same, and in the first place
paying, satisfying and discharging all costs, charges
and expenses incurred by order of this Court, or inci-
dental to the execution of the trusts of the convey-
ance and assignment to be made in pursuance of this
order, and all fees of Court, and all payments to the
Insolvent Estates Fund payable under the thirty-
ninth section of the said Act, and such other sums of
money (if any) as shall be ordered by this Court and
subject thereto, for the purpose of justly distributing
and administering the clear residue of the said monies
between and amongst and for the benefit of all the
creditors of the said Andrew Haldane at the time of
the presentation of his said petition, and who shall
duly prove their debts by affidavit within six calendar
months from the date of this order by way of pro
ratΓ‘ distribution, subject to existing priorities; and if
there shall be any surplus of the said monies, after
answering the purposes aforesaid, shall pay such
surplus to the said petitioner: and it is further ordered
that the Registrar of this Court at Dunedin shall
make and execute such cession and delivery, convey-
ance and assignment, in the name and on behalf of
the said Andrew Haldane, and that such conveyance
and assignment shall contain all requisite powers for
enabling the said John Bell Mudie, and James Mollison,
to recover and receive debts, monies, goods, chattels,
estate and effects in any way belonging to or due
and payable to the said petitioner, or any of such
debts, or monies, goods, chattels, estate, or effects in
particular upon the trusts as aforesaid.

WILLIAMSON, of Princes-street, Dunedin, grocer
and storekeeper, trading under the firm of " Jones
and Williamson," a debtor; and in the matter
of "The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862."
UPON reading the Petition of the said Alexander
Williamson, and the affidavit thereto annexed,
also the affidavit of the said Alexander Williamson,
sworn and filed in these matters on the twenty-fourth
day of March instant, and the affidavit of Edward
Bethel Hammond, also sworn in these matters and
filed on the first day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-five, and upon hearing Mr. Cook,
of counsel for the said petitioner: It is ordered that
the petitioner do on or before the fifteenth day
of May next, or within such extended time as this
Court shall grant for that purpose, cede and deliver
convey and assign unto James Taylor McKerras,
of Dunedin, merchant, and William Alexander Tolmie,
also of Dunedin, merchant, their heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns respectively, according to
the nature and quality thereof respectively, all the
estate and effects of the petitioner, except certain
hereditaments situate in Princes-street, in the town
of Dunedin aforesaid, being part of section number
thirty-nine (39), block nine on the record map of the
said town, and comprised in a lease dated the ninth day
of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-
three (registered number 6251), made between Hyam
Edward Nathan of the one part and the petitioner of
the other part: and except also the wearing apparel
of himself and his wife and children, and his house-
hold furniture, utensils and effects, upon trust for
the purpose of selling, disposing of, getting in and
receiving or otherwise realizing the same, and in the
first place paying, satisfying, and discharging all costs,
charges and expenses incurred by order of this Court,
or incidental to the execution of the trusts of the
conveyance and assignment to be made in pursuance
of this order, and all fees of Court, and all payments
to the Insolvent Estates Fund, payable under the
thirty-ninth section of the said Act, and such other
sums of money (if any) as shall be ordered by this
Court, and subject thereto, for the purpose of justly
distributing and administering the clear residue of
the said monies between and amongst and for the
benefit of all the creditors of the said petitioner at
the time of the presentation of his said petition, and
who shall duly prove their debts by affidavit within
