Mr. Hugh Mackie, Master of the Steamship
"Gothenberg," reports that at 7.30 p.m., of the 6th
October, whilst on his passage from Melbourne viΓ’
the Bluff, to Port Chalmers, the ship struck slightly
on a sunken Rock or reef. The followings hangs
are given (but no soundings).
