A PROCLAMATION
Bringing the "Savings Bank Act, 1858," into
operation at Invercargill.
By His Excellency Sir GEORGE GREY,
Knight Commander of the Most
Honorable Order of the Bath,
Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same, &c., &c.
IN exercise of the power in me vested by
the "Savings Bank Act, 1858," I, Sir
George Grey, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the
INVERCARGILL SAVINGS BANK
shall, from the date hereof, come within the
operation of the said Act.
Given under my hand, at the Govern-
ment House at Auckland, and
issued under the Seal of the
Colony of New Zealand, this
seventh day of July, in the year
of our Lord One thousand eight
hundred and sixty-four.

IN exercise of the power vested in me by
the "Savings Bank Act, 1858," I, Sir
George Grey, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, do hereby nominate and
appoint the persons hereafter named to be
Trustees of the Invercargill Savings Bank,
namely,-

William H. Calder,
Andrew J. Elles,
Jabez Hay,
Jeremiah Harnett,
Theophilus Heale,
John C. Henderson,
Henry McCulloch,
Donald McDonald,
John McDonald,
James A. R. Menzies,

Thomas Watson.
