THE following Declaration of Allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen was
subscribed before me yesterday the 3rd of June, 1864, at Waikanae,
in the Province of Wellington, and is now published for general in-
formation.

DECLARATION.
Waikanae, June 3, 1864.

I hereby declare that I will be a true Queen's man, and will bear true
allegiance to Her for ever, and will submit myself to all the lawful
commands of Her Magistrates, and all who are in authority under Her
Majesty.

i raro i a Te Kuini.
