shall keep a book, to be entitled "The
Deeds Inrolment Book," for the Inrol-
ment of Deeds requiring to be Inrolled
under the provisions of the Act of the
Imperial Parliament entitled "An Act for
the Abolition of Fines and Recoveries, and
for the substitution of more simple modes
of Assurance."
2nd. The several Volumes of the said Book,
and also the pages of each Volume, shall
be numbered consecutively, the Volumes
in Roman, and the pages in Arabic
numerals.
3rd. A complete copy of every Deed pre-
sented for Inrolment under the Act, and of
any plan or plans drawn or indorsed upon
such Deed shall be forthwith entered in
the said Book.
4th. The Registrar, or Deputy Registrar,
shall examine every such entry with the
Original Deed, and, as a memorandum of
such examination, shall write in the
margin of the Roll, opposite the entry of
such Deed, the words, "examined with
the Original," and shall sign his name
under the said words.
5th. Before returning any such Deed to the
person presenting the same for inrolment
the Registrar, or Deputy Registrar, shall
cause to be endorsed thereon, or to be
written in the margin thereof, a memo-
randum in the form subjoined to these
Rules, stating the place at which, and the
day on which, the said Deed shall have
been inrolled, and referring by their res-
pective numbers to the volume and page
of the Roll where the same Deed shall
have been entered; and every such memo-
randum shall be signed by the Registrar
or Deputy Registrar.
6th. An Index to the Roll shall be kept by
every Registrar, wherein shall be entered
the Christian names and Surnames of all
the parties to every such Deed, with a
reference by their respective numbers to
the volume and page of the Roll wherein
such Deed is entered. The order of such
Index shall be Alphabetical, according to
the initial letter of the respective Surnames
of the said parties.
7th. There shall be paid in respect of in-
rolment the Fees specified in the Table
subjoined to these Rules.
