A PROCLAMATION
For the Naturalization of Gustavus Fer-
dinand Von Tempsky.

By His Excellency Sir GEORGE
GREY, Knight Commander of
the Most Honorable Order of
the Bath, Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over
Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same,
&c., &c., &c.

WHEREAS by the "Naturalization Act,
1862," it is enacted that every person
who shall be declared to come within the
operation of that Act by any Proclamation to be
issued in that behalf by His Excellency the
Governor shall as from the time in such Pro-
clamation specified be deemed and taken until
the termination of the next Session of the
General Assembly to be and to have been from
such specified time a natural born subject of
Her Majesty within the Colony of New Zea-
land as fully to all intents and purposes, as if
his name had been inserted in the Schedule to
that Act annexed. Provided always that
every such Proclamation shall contain the
description, occupation or calling of every
person therein named and his place of resi-
dence at the date of such Proclamation.

Now, therefore, I, Sir George Grey, the
Governor of New Zealand, in pursuance of
the power and authority in me vested by the
said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the person hereinafter mentioned shall come
within the operation of the said Act, from the
date hereinafter specified, viz.:

GUSTAVUS FERDINAND VON TEMPSKY,
From the Twenty-fourth day of August,
One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three,
-Native of Prussia, -Digger,-Residence,
late of Coromandel, now Drury, in the
Province of Anckland.

Given under my hand at the Go-
vernment House, at Auckland, and
issued under the seal of the
Colony of New Zealand, this
twenty-ninth day of August, in the
year of our Lord One thousand
eight hundred and sixty-three.

HIS Excellency the Governor directs the
publication of the following Act pas-
sed by the Imperial Parliament entitled "An
Act to alter the Boundaries of New Zealand."
ALFRED DOMETT.

An Act to alter the Boundaries of New Zea-
land.

WHEREAS by the Eightieth Section of
an Act of the Fifteenth Year of Her
Hajesty, Chapter Seventy-two intituled An
Act to grant a Representative Constitution
to the Colony of New Zealand, it was pro-
vided, that for the Purposes of that Act the
said Colony should be held to include the
Territories therein mentioned: And whereas
it is expedient to alter the Limits of the said
Colony as declared by the said Act: Be it
therefore enacted by the Queen's most Excel-
lent Majesty, by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal,
and Commons, in this present Parliament as-
sembled, and by the Authority of the same
as follows:

  1. So much of the Eightieth Section of the
    aforesaid Act of Parliament as declares the
    Limits of the Colony of New Zealand for the
    Purposes of the said Act is repealed.
  2. The Colony of New Zealand shall for
    the purposes of the said Act and for all other
