SATURDAY, 25TH JULY, 1863.

A PROCLAMATION.

The General Assembly of New Zealand further prorogued.

By His Excellency Sir GEORGE GREY, Knight Com-
mander of the Most Honorable Order of the
Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-
Admiral of the same &c., &c., &c.

WHEREAS the General Assembly of New Zealand has been
and now stands prorogued to MONDAY the Twenty-seventh day of July,
instant; And whereas it is expedient further to prorogue the same:
Now, therefore I, Sir George Grey, the Governor of New Zea-
land, do hereby further prorogue the said General Assembly until
THURSDAY, the Twenty-seventh day of August, now next ensuing.

Given under my hand, at the Government House, at
at Auckland, and issued under the Seal of the
Colony of New Zealand, this twenty-fifth
day of July, in the year of our Lord, One
thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.
