transmission by the Aldinga, which reaches Melbourne in time for the P. and O. Com-
pany's Mail Steamer leaving on the 26th of each month.

(1) In case of the non-arrival of the English Mail at Port Chalmers before, this
boat can wait until the 25th, and when such delay takes place she will as a rule remain no
longer at the intermediate Ports than is necessary to deliver and receive Mails.
