NOTICE is hereby given that an appli-
cation has been made by FRANCIS
STEVENS in accordance with the "Patents
Act, 1860," for the issue to him of Letters
Patent granting to him the exclusive right to
manufacture a certain Machine for Splitting
Shingles. And further notice is hereby given
that any person or persons who may wish to
prefer any objections to the granting of such
Letters Patent are hereby required, within
four months from the publication hereof, to
forward to CHARLES KNIGHT, of Auckland,
Esquire, M.D. (being the person appointed for
that purpose under the provisions of the said
Act), a statement in writing setting forth the
grounds of such objections, subscribed with
his, her, or their proper name or names and
address.

with "The Patents, Act, 1860," for the issue to him
of Letters Patent of an Invention for an Improvement
or Improvements in the manufacture of an alloy or
alloys of Titanium and Iron. And further notice is
hereby given that any person or persons who may
wish to prefer any objections to the granting of such
Letters Patent, are hereby required, within four
months from the publication hereof, to forward to
CHARLES KNIGHT, of Auckland, Esquire, M. D.,
(being the person appointed for that purpose under
the provisions of the said Act) a statement in writing
setting forth the grounds of such objections sub-
scribed with his, her or their proper name or names and
address.
