The Committee shall be authorized to adopt such means as shall seem to them most desirable for giving publicity to the objects and operations of the Society.
Persons wishing to have friends sent out.
The Committee shall be authorized to receive from persons residing in this country or in the Colonies any sums of money or passage-warrants they may remit, to enable friends or relatives to emigrate.
Emigrants' Passages, &c.
The Committee shall decide upon all grants of money for assisted passages, and fix the conditions on which such grants shall be made.
Female Emigration—Ladies' Committee.
The Committee, if they think it desirable, may sanction the formation of a Ladies' Committee, for the purpose of considering and reporting on applications by female emigrants, and may co-operate with other Societies having for their objects the furtherance of Emigration on an organized plan.

THE following Acts passed by the General Assembly of New Zealand, in the Session held in the twenty-fifth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled,—
"An Act to incorporate the proprietors of a certain Banking Company called the Bank of New Zealand, and for other purposes."
"An Act to incorporate the proprietors of a certain Banking Company called the Bank of New South Wales, and for other purposes,"
having been laid before the Queen in conformity with the provisions of the Constitution Act, Her Majesty has been graciously pleased to leave the same to their operation.
