PURSUANT to the Provisions of an Act of
the General Assembly of New Zealand,
passed in the Eighteenth Year of the Reign
of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, and intituled
"The Marriage Act, 1854," the following
names of OFFICIATING MINISTERS, within
the meaning of the said Act, are published
for general information :-

I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar Gene-
ral of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, in
New Zealand, do hereby certify that the fore-
going NAMES OF OFFICATING MINISTERS, within
the meaning of "The Marriage Act, 1854,"
have been sent in to me, in addition to the
names in Lists published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 6, of the 20th of January, No. 8,
of the 3rd of February, No. 12, of the 28th of
February, No. 13, of the 7th March, No. 15,
of the 22nd of March, No. 23, of the 11th
June, and No. 24, of the 21st of June, in the
present year.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.
Queen Charlotte's Sound.
A Black Buoy, surmounted by a Red Beacon,
with "Luke Rock" painted thereon, has
been placed on the rock bearing that name,
the buoy temporarily placed near the rock
having been removed.
The Buoy bears (Magnetic) as follows:-
Eastern Point of Fly Bay S.W. S.
Point Dieffenbach N.W. N.
Strangers are cautioned against standing
nearer to the Buoy than two cables length.

Provincial Council of the Province of
Nelson has reported that in pursuance of the
"Provincial Audit Act, 1861," he has duly
appointed

to be Auditor of Public Accounts of the Pro-
vince of Nelson, and
JOHN PERCY
to be Deputy Auditor of Public Accounts of
that Province, these gentlemen having been
nominated by the Superintendent and Provin-
cial Council of Nelson, to those respective
Offices.
