  the General Assembly.

† In "Bruce" there are believed to have been about 3000 Miners, not included in the Census Schedules.
This Total includes 3,687 Tents.

NOTE. The Numbers in this Table do not include the portions of the Total Population in the Shipping at Auckland
and Dunedin Harbours, which were respectively, -Auckland, Males 273; Females 41; Total 314. Dunedin, Males 644:
Females 29; Total, 673. These numbers must be added to the above to make the General Total for the Colony agree
with that in the preceding Table.
