486 acres.
Bounded on the North-east and East by the
Awaroa stream, on the South by the Kauri
block, and on the West by lines following the
ridge of hills from Pukekahikatoa to the Oto-
toro stream, and by that stream till it joins the
Awaroa, a little above the native settlement at
Otarua.

1246 acres.
Bounded on the North by the Ototoro,
Otarua, and Ramarama blocks; on the North-
east by the Puhiwai block, on the South by
the sea from Pokoharu to Kohuraorao, and on
the West by a line from Kohuraorao to Puke
Kahekatoa.

PURANGI BLOCK.
8340 acres.
Bounded on the North by the sea, from the
Purangi river to Hahei; on the South-east by
a line bearing 180° 15', 36,910 links; on the
South-west by lines bearing 288° 5', 17,870
links, and 295° 47', 8615 links; and on the
West by a line bearing 11° 25', 14,800 links,
and by the Purangi river.

WHENUAKITE BLOCK.
4166 acres.
Bounded on the North by Gordon Brown's
claim, and the Purangi block; on the East by
the Huruhurutakina, and on the South and
West by the Whenuakite and Whitianga rivers.
Coromandel District.
WAITATARAMOA BLOCK.
200 acres.
Bounded on the North by the Coromandel
harbour, from Waipukapuka to Otara; on the
East by W. B. Moore's claim, on the South by
lines following the range called Tuhuna, and on
the West by the Waikaheka block.
Coromandel District.
TUHUANUI ISLAND.
15 acres.
Situated near the entrance to the Coromandel
harbour.

has been extinguished over the block of
land whereof the boundaries are mentioned or
described in the Schedule hereunder annexed.

AWAHOU BLOCK,
Estimated to contain 25,000 acres.
BOUNDARIES.
Commencing on the coast at "Kai Iwi";
thence westward to "Orua Kaitau"; thence to
Omaru Papaka and on to the Moutoa road,
along the road to Pukehinau, and on to
Otekura, and along the edge of the Otatara
swamp, to Pakengahau, on the Manawatu
river; thence down the Manawatu to its
mouth on the coast; thence northerly along
the coast to Kai Iwi.
The lands known and shown on plan as
Wirokino, Haumiaroa, and Te Raumatangi,
within the above boundaries, are excluded
from the Awahou block.
1830 acres, as shown and described on plan,
are reserved by the Natives for their own
use.
36 acres 2 roods and 20 perches, situate at
the Awa-hou and shown and described on
plan, are particularly reserved for Ihakara,
Kereopa, and others.
2 roods and 12 perches, adjoining the afore-
mentioned reserve as shown and described on
plan, are reserved for Nepia Taratoa.
The Burial Grounds as shown and described
on plan, at Te Awahou, containing 1 acre and
5 perches, at Moutoa, containing 20 acres 1
rood and 33 perches, and at the Wakawehe,
containing 34 acres, are reserved.
197 acres 2 roods at the Awa-hou as shown
on plan and marked AA, and 91 acres as de-
scribed on plan, situated between the Rau-
matangi and the Awa-hou, and marked BB,
are also reserved.
Pre-emptive rights of purchase are by deed
of sale given to Nepia Taratoa, Kereopa, and
Te Wirihana to certain pieces of land described
and marked on plan by the letters B, D, and
E, and containing respectively
1 acre, 1 rood, 5 perch

Certain small portions as shown and des-
cribed on plan at Te Iwitei kai te Kawaroa, Te
Wakawehe, Tapuwai Moana, and Manuwaru
