By His Excellency Sir GEORGE GREY,
Knight, Commander of the Most
Honorable Order of the Bath,
Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zea'and and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same, &c., &c., &c.
WHEREAS by the "Coroners' Act,
1858" the Governor is empowered in
the manner therein mentioned to appoint fit
persons to be Coroners of the several districts
of the Colony of New Zealand, and from
time to time to define the Districts within
which such Coroners shall respectively have
jurisdiction, and every such definition to
revoke or amend, and the limits of such
Districts to alter as occasion may require.
Now, therefore, I, Sir George Grey, the
Governor of the said Colony, in pursuance
of the said power and authority, do hereby
define the District of
Wanganui
to be the country between the Wangaehu
River, the Northern boundary of the Pro-
vince of Wellington, the Sea Coast and the
Ruahine Range of Hills.

of the Colony of New Zealand, and from time
to time to define the Districts within which
such Coroners shall respectively hav juris-
diction, and every such definition to revoke or
amend, and the limits of such Districts to alter

Sir George Grey, the Governor of the said
Colony, in pursuance of the said power and
authority, do hereby define the District of
Rangitikei,
to be all the country between the Manawatu
River, the Wangaehu River, the Sea Coast and
the Ruahine Range of Hills.

of the Rimutaka Range, the Lowry Bay,
Wai-nui-o-mata, and adjacent country to the
Rimutaka range of hills.
