IN reference to the Time Table for the
arrival and departure of the Inter-Pro-
vincial Mail Steamer, published in the Go-
vernment Gazette of the 7th ultimo, No. 40,
p. 239, it is notified for general information
that the service of the Steamer in accordance
therewith will commence from the 4th
November next.

Parliament sat at General Assembly House (nicknamed the 'Shedifice') in Auckland from 1854-1864, sharing the building with the Auckland Provincial Council.

Ironically the Upper House met on the lower story, and the Lower House on the upper story.
